I am looking for a set of rebuilt coils for a 1925 fordson. Anyone have any good suggestions for where to go for these? I cleaned the clutch and had the carborator rebuild last fall and I want to play. Coils are all I need (I hope). Thank you for any help in advance.

Try Ron Patterson at modeltcoils@sprynet.com

He is a specialist in old Ignition coils, rebuilding and new. Price he charged me for rebuilding four coils was very reasonable.

They are the same coils used in the Ford Model T's. Any place that sells restoration parts for Model T automobiles would have them or know where you can get some. Mine came from J.C. Whitney - about 22 years ago.

Ditto on the Model T parts houses. I've used Langs Model T parts in Wincester, Massachusetts several times. I'm in the process of unpacking and don't have their number readily availabe. They have an 800 number you can retrieve from 800 information. Ask them to send you a free catalog. The number of interchangable parts Model T vs Fordson may suprise you. If you have Fordson parts book 1918-1928, you will see many of the Fordson parts have a part number beging with the letter T. This indicates they are the same. Good luck and welcome aboard the Fordson train. RLL Fordson Exchange
