Hi, We have a Fordson F and an N that both sat for many years. The clutches both stick on them just enough that you can't quite get the pulley to stop all the way to put them into gear. Can anything be done while not splitting the tractor for the summer? Once you split it, what to do with the clutch plates, cleaning only?

you can try adjusting your transmission brake, but you should split the tractor and rebuild the clutch at some point in time, that involves cleaning the disks and peening them to restore the "cup" to the disks so they release and you can shift the tractor into gear
