Changing Generator to Alternator

I'd like to change my fordson major generator to an alternator. Can anyone tell me what delco alternator I chould be putting on and how big of a pulley should go on the front of the alt.

I put the cheapest Delco I could find on mine. Your don't have to worry about the pully just go with the one that comes with the alt. Be sure you line it up good and tighten the Alt to the tractor good. You may have to rig you a bracket to hook it up. I did. You have to prongs plus a terminal. You have two hook up prongs,hook one of the prongs to the key up side of the switch so you excite it to charge, the other put on the bigger terminal then run you a 12 gauge wire to the battery. If you need any more info let me know.
