Can Burrhead or someone out there help me? I'm kinda new at this, so bear with me.. I have an opportunity to buy a Dearborn 19-22 loader, with a front mounted hyd pump, off of a Ford 8N. My question is this, before I drive 800 miles to do this, can this loader be made to fit my 1962 Super Dexta without a whole bunch of cutting and fitting?

Don there will be a small amount of cutting and welding, I would modify the front mount that goes against the pivot plate to be on the back side of the front axle instead of out at the frontend, and it will take longer U bolts on the rear axle end.

Just be sure you get all the hoses and controls cause that stuff is high as a cats back.

Thanks Don for the kind words.

I have'nt been able to find an original type loader for my SD either. I can find a few Freeman with trip lever buckets and the likes for 8N but I don't want to make the modifications to mount them.

If you have a pretty old Ford dealer near you he should still have books with the series numbers for Dearborn loaders that would cross over to other brands.
