I recently aquired a Power Major in a real estate transaction, and know nothing about it, except that it is exceptionally cool, and I want to restore it. I have the basic background, but am thirsty for more! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Karl,
Power Majors are great machines. I've had a '59 diesel for about 11 yrs as my main tractor on my hobby farm in NY. It's a working machine - not a show machine. My local Ford dealer has been good at repairs(head gasket and water pump)and parts as needed. Some parts are getting hard to find, however. The power steering cylinder on my tractor needs a rebuild kit , but it is no longer available.
There are several who post on this board who have a lot of experience with these machines and have helped me in the past, Brian (in England)in particular. Great bunch of people.

Have fun
