I think if you can try to get this tractor for a good price (bit above scrap price) then you you can afford to do some serious work on it as it sounds like you might. Take it on as a challenge. I realise to some people they are pretty common but they are still a "classic", old, good looking tractor. I think the notion of how much will it be worth is unrealistic as it should be "a labour of love". Go for it and it's another one saved! Let us know how you get on.

Parts are getting a harder to find. Especially things like carbs and manifolds. Restored values vary like anything else. It depends on what the buyer is willing to pay. I've seen them for sale anywhere between scrap price (or less) to $1500.00. If it is a rarer configuration such as fitted with a winch or crane it will naturally bring more. Resurrecting any tractor in bad shape can only be termed a labor of love and is very rarely profitable unless you discover something special or unusual along the way. Odd thing about Fordsons is that there were so many of these tractors made and so few fixed up and at shows. I know this probably hasn't given you the exact answer you were looking for. If I were you I'd take a pass on this one and start with a running or at least intact tractor.
