My FMD Doesn't Have Brake Lock; Why?

Is my Fordson Major missing a hand brake or something to lock them in place? There is no lever or anything at the foot brakes to lock it. What evidence should I look for in missing or removed brake parts?

Don't worry, FMDs did not always come with a h/brake on the non-industrial models. This can be a blessing, as I found out when my h/brake fell apart and required splitting the tractor to fix. Use the much more reliable parking brake instead, the little T bar next to the footbrake. Pull this up with the footpedal down, it works just as well.
