I have a Fordson County Crawler and after driving for about 10 minutes the left track starts to fade and it won't turn. I beleive that there is a disc clutch on the left hand side that is the problem. I started to remove the assembly, pulling about 20 little nuts off the aluminum hub then two heavy duty springs. I then removed the spring backing plate and there was a big bolt holding a plate with the dawel pins, I removed the bolt but this plate won't come off. Do I have to take off the outer internal brake band to get to the disc or....? Any suggestions would be great! Thanks.
