I have a 1958 Fordson Power Major which I believe is an industrial spec (ex, Royal Air Force). I Don’t really know much more. My brakes are on the rear axle's and are about 20" in diameter and there are no hydraulics. There seems to be something special with the gearbox, the tractor does 30mph +.

I was wandering if anybody knows any more about the industrial models?

There definitely was an industrial model of the Dexta. It was outfitted with hydraulic brakes, broader rear fenders, front fenders and such. As souch, is was easily recognizable.

So I guess there could have been an industrial model of the Major as well, and it wouldn't be unreasonable to assume that it should have front fenders and the likes. I've never seen one, though.

I'd love to have an industrial model: no more getting sprayed with mud when driving on wet roads!

I believe I also have an industrial Power Major, It has a Large front blade and a Sherman backhoe attachment. - No front fenders though. I have completed much work with this machine and although old she is a great runner. Would like to track down a steering box as the worm gear in mine is shot and I can't seem to find used parts around here.
