County Commercial Cars Limited was started in 1929 by Ernest and Percy Tapp in Balham, England.
This was southwest of London. Later, the County company moved to Fleet, England. The Tapp's began by producing a six wheel drive conversion for the Ford Model AA truck. Expanding their scope of business incredibly over the next 20 years. The County Super 4 and County Super 6 were the first tractor conversion units that really boomed for the company. The company unfortunately is no longer in existence... and technically County was down for the count in 1983.
The end of a brilliant era.... and some of the most technologically advanced and creative conversions ever seen.

Hallo,

I'm a Belgium collector of County tractor brochures and I also have a real County 1164 bilt in 1972. May I ask you if you have other County brochures for trade?
