I'm sure I remember reading about SOMEBODY running a round baler with a Dexta.(my kind of operator) Had a cousin baled with a 35 Massey- just curious type of baler and any smart tricks it took Helton in N.C.

About the only round baler I'm aware of small enough for a Dexta to safely handle would be the older Allis Chalmers roto baler. Made small round bales about 50 to 80 pounds.

Yessir I run one with a Dexta. It's the old chain style 845 NH. 4X5.
It does really good til about the last 12" of the bale. I don't sell this hay anyhow so I just cut down on the size a little and do fine. They still weigh around 800, that's big enough for me.
When I'm baling and moving the bales I keep the tires watered down all the way around. I'm in flat river bottom land here so it's safe enough with it.

I have bigger tractors, but I love my Dexta.
