hello got a dextra and the crankshaft will turn but the flywheel i can't get to turn -what 2 do next --thanks shoestring

Sounds like the crank has broken or the fly wheel bolts sheard. The first is the most likly. probably at the rear main journal. Pull of the sump and have a look.

steven b thanks 4 the reply on the crankshaft, i was in hope;s that it was not the shaft broke an i was out today looking an i think i found out what it is, we were turning the back of the pulley it was just going round & round. this thing has been setup 4- 6, years. could u tell me if on the front of the crank does it have a shear pin in it, i have found a shop manuel on it but it does not list that.if it is the crank i'm not out but $50.00 dollars, i think it is still not unstuck

The crankshaft is likely to be broken. You can have it replaced, but it's a pretty big repair and it's going to cost you some. An alternative would be to find another engine somewhere and just swap engine blocks.
