I went to start the tractor after it has sat without running for 9-12 months and she runs with starting fluid only, so I bleed the fuel system as I have done many times before and she still won't run so I check the fuel transfer pump and it pumps but is leaking thru the back so I get a new pump and install and bleed the system but I still don't get fuel at the injectors , it's at the injector pump, steady flow at the fuel line entering when cranking or using the primer on pump and no air bubbles, took off fuel line from tank and checked for cracks or leaks . I'm at a loss for what to check next, I don't have a manual on how to bleed the fuel system the proper way but my way has worked for me over 20 years. any suggestions? Thanks, tom

I removed the plug on top of injector pump near the back and cranked the motor and used the primer on the transfer pump and I have nothing in this hole. Should I have fuel there? This SM motor is not in a Fordson tractor it's in a Dynahoe so some things may be a little different . I am including a picture. Tom

Your Idle cutoff rack in the IJ Pmp may be stuck. Push the diesel start boost button on the side if it wont stay in you may have a stuck rack.

DI YOU CRACK THE BLEED SCREW ON THE INJECTOR PUMP THATS RIGHT IN FRONT OF THESTOP CONTROLL LEVER? I DID THAT THE OTHER DAY WHEN I PUT A NEW FUEL PUMP ON MY SM AND FORGOT THAT IT WAS THERE,IT HAD BEEN SO LONG SINCE I HAD DONE IT.JUST A THOUGHT.GOOD LUCK.

If you have fuel to the IJec pump at the bleeder screw take the lines of the IJtrs crank the engine, no squirts from the lines indicate stuck plungers. Getting them down and to work is a job that requires finesse and it could spell real trouble, if you think you can handle that and are real skilled I will tell you if you think they are stuck.
