I haven't been able to talk to my mate just yet - he's more than a little busy just now with sillage season. However, I was at a rally in Corbridge in Northumberland today and took some photos of a couple of 6-cylinder E1a Diesel Major conversions. I have posted them in the Parts & Pieces gallery here on the ytmag site. Hopefully there is something useful for you shown in them.
Cheers, JV.

Which Cargo engine is it you're fitting? A friend of mine is into Majors in a pretty big way and has a NPSM with an Iveco in it. I can ask him if he can come up with some ideas if you'd like.
Cheers, JV
