Can anyone help me.I have a 1962 FSM.It appears to have some kind of different hyd.controls from anything i can find in a book.Between your legs while seated there is a lever that has 2 positions. There is a small "butterfly" valve beside it which turns horizontally to 2 positions. .there are no other adjustments on the top control.of course there is a draft control lever and a position lever for the 3 point hitch.Out of the side of the top control there is 2 hyd lines coming out suggesting dual hyd.to my loader. Can anyone elaborate. Thanks Maury

the little lever below the seat on Right side when sitting in seat is the position/draught control lever.

Butterfly knob under seat at the front of the hydraulic cover is your flow control knob. If you turn it right in your hydraulics will drop very slowly, if you turn it right out they will drop quite fast

Alternate ports are for aux hydraulics to run a front blade, for example

Hope this helps.

There is a maunual available which gives you the function of the levers. I have one but not near it now so cannot remember the name. Just do a google search for fordson major manual and you will find one.

Hope this helps

Thanks Ken It is as I thought.About the lever between my legs as i sit, it is about 12" long and when I pull it I think it must work the 3 point hitch and when I push it I think it operates my aux Hyd.for my loader which are dual. Is this common . I have pics I could email them to you .Any thougths Thanks Maury
