I have a 64 Super Major and the function of one of the control knobs is unknown to me.
Below the selector switch for lifting arms/external equipment I have a knob.

This knobis not described in the operator manual. It is stuck, and I don't take the chance of using force before I know the function.

On the right side of this knob(seen from drivers seat), there is bolt, and the purpose of this bolt is also unknown to me.

I have a picture, but is not able to attached it.

You have a New Performance Super Major and the Knob is a drop restrictor. When screwed in it slows down the drop rate of the implement on the lift. It works on a valve on the ram cylinder by just pushing it in. Careful work with easing oil and grips on the knob may free it off.

The other "Bolt" you ask about just to the right of the drop restrictor is the Pressure Relief Valve. Leave well alone.
