1 .. Large sliding lever = lift control lever, raise to the top, lift will rise, push to the bottom, lift will lower in simple terms but see below- 2 .. Lever with two positions = Draft control/Position control selector. Draft is up, Position is down. Draft control is used for implements in the ground such as ploughs. As the plough moves through the ground pressure is applied to the top link. The position of the lift control lever in its quadrant sets how much load can be applied to the top link before the lift reacts. The further the lever is down the quadrant, the more pressure is required to get the lift to react. This reaction transfers the load of the plough to the rear wheel and aids wheel slip control. When draft control is selected, the lift control lever has to be near the top stop for the lift to lift and the lift will drop when the lever is moved a short distance. Position Control is used for all implements working above the ground and for hitching up to implements. With the main lift lever down the quadrant and Position control selected, you should be able to move the main control lever up the quadrant in stages and see the arms lift a little and stop. This makes the arms far more controlable. 3 .. Screw Device = This is the oil flow control and is used to restrict the oil flow to the lift when working in Draft Control so that the lift corrections may be used to better effect when weight is being transfered. The slower reaction transfers weight without the implement being raised too far out of work. It should be connected by a link rod to a wheel like device on the main lever quadrant that moves the flow control into the fast flow position for lifting at the end of the work. Sorry for the long post. Hope you can understand it.
