Is their a standard setting with respect to front track width in order to obtain parallel front wheel alignment? Or do you set the wheels parallel by rotating the steering arms on the splines after the front track width has been set to the desired width? If anyone could give me any pointer about this I would be very grateful. Thanks.

There is no way to set the track on a Major. It just happens where ever you set the track rod clamps in the notches on the rod. You cannot move the arms on the srtub axles as these have a master spline.
