Phil, Whether or not you can find parts depends on your location. Over here in Holland (Europe), you can definitely get parts, including sheet-metal. Fixing the 3-pt.-HPL shouldn't be a problem, provided that you can get the parts you need (and provided you know what you're doing, of course, as HPL's are fickle things). The engine may run, but you need to establish the condition of things like clutch plates, bearings etc before the buy. If you know a good diesel mechanic, take him along for advice. I bought my Dexta 4 yrs ago for 800 Dutch guilders (about $ 400) and drove it home after the buy (a 30 kilometer trip). It held up great. Since then, I've put new tyres on it, replaced a piston, replaced all piston bearings and rings, all crankshaft bearings, most gaskets, some seals, refreshed all the oil, hammered the dents out of the sheet metal, conserved and painted the whole thing and had a LOT of fun doing all this. Right now, it's worth more than I spent on it.
