Restoring the old major and on to the tin now. Looking for new rear fenders. Is there an aftermarket available.

Thanx RJW

A pair of new Major "wings" showed up on ebay recently - item # 3873220334. I tried adding a link to the auction, but don't know if it will work.

I am also searching the world for replacement fenders for my '59 power major, let us know if you have any luck.
I am looking into making my own stamping mold in my machine shop if I cant find any, if I do I will stamp as many as I can. (it will be just a temporary mold)

Remember, in other countries they're called "wings". To them, a "fender" is what we call a bumper. I think Ford sold the tooling to EBRO in Spain. Maybe they still have it laying around.

Hey! don't tell me about "wings" I just called 'em fenders for the sake of our Yank members.
Anyway, thanks for the tip about EBRO, but if it's original tooling it would weigh a ton.
If I end up making my own it would be from aluminium (note spelling)tooling plate, but only good for maybe a couple of dozen wings-fenders-mudguards.
I will check out EBRO though. Thanks

RJ -

I remembered seeing this in one of the other groups I follow; I think the guy is in Istanbul, Turkey, of all places... (Might not be a bad idea to initiate communications via fax, as his English may not be all that good.)

Not sure if the contact information is still current...

Good luck, & let us know how you make out.
