Hopefully someone can assist before I do something stupid and cause more damage to my Fordson major (Diesel). It has a collapsed bearing in the LHS behind the steering break, I cannot seem to get it out, I made up a puller but the bearing housing will only come out about half an inch and refuses to budge any further. Also if anyone can shed some light on the year I would be gratefull, it has a 6 cylinder perkins diesel engine with three point linkage and a Perkins diesel badge on the grill with another bdge on the top of the grill with the numbers 37-41Diesel on it. The tractors original paint is blue with red wheels.

Repost with a different subject title: Perkins Major Collapsed Bearing.

Sounds like a pre-1952 E27N but that is a best guess.
