need advice : jumping out of 1st, only high

Hi guys, my fordson will jump out of 1st gear unless I hold it in place, do I have to split to repair ? Also, tractor will not engage into low range. Again, do I have to split to repair ? Is there an easy way to repair ?

If you are near Oregon I have a trans attached to a mostly complete parts tractor(cracked block).No sheet metal.Poor tires. You can have the whole thing Cheap Cheap Cheap!!
