All,
What year was this tractor made?
The number by the starter is:271726.
The number under the seat is: K27B.
Any help would be helpful.
Thanks

Date code on lift gives August 27th 1958. Other date codes on the tractor would help to confirm this.

Serial number is most likely an export one or engine could have been replaced with an industrial unit. It looks like an Australian number but only my opinion.

If it's a Fordson Model F (steel wheels), it should be a 1923.

Jeez, I should have been paying attention! The Model F didn't even *have* a starter, unless that's what you want to call the crank! I gotta stop reading these boards so late at night...

I don't know much about the Power Major series, but if you can find a serial number on the engine somewhere, there is a menu on the left of this page called "Research & Info". Go there, and then click on "Serial Numbers" and follow the menus to the section on the Power Majors.

The serial number should be seven digits, ranging anywhere from 148NNNN through 16NNNNN .

Hope this helps.
