The oil from the front wheel bearings is dripping all over my new pait work! Is it because I have filled them to high,(I removed the plug and added 30 weight oil up to the plug level), is this to much oil?, the wrong sort?, or are my seals simpls worn?
Thank Mike

My TEA20 manual recommends grease... So do I! Either way 30W oil is too light, Use a good grease, or change the seals and use 80-90 gear oil.

Mike, Likely the seals are shot. Proper fill is to put the plug at 45 degree from top and fill till oil runs out. I have one that was filled with wheel bearing grease and it works fine. Just a thought.
Joe
