Just wondering if anyone can tell me. Have I connected this ram correctly. When I bought it from Flea Bay it came in the post with two plastic stoppers in the end ports. So that is where I hooked my lines to. But it doesn't work. Should I have used the port with the hex drive nut in it.? Mick

I have already got one picture of the spool valve on the original Topic Old loader on ted20 I think it is on page 2 of the forum. But I posted it from my wifes computer not realising it would put her name on the post Linda Barrett.
If that photo does not help let me know what I need the photo to show you. Thanks again Mick

Now you have sent that how about sending a picture of the other end, the spool valve? Until we know what you have done at the other end we can't make a comment. Have you got the correct spool valve? I have already replied to you about this but no reply from you yet....John

Mike.
Is that a double action hydraulic cylinder?
Where do your hydraulic lines go to and are they both pressure, or is one pressure and the other discharge?

Bob

I bought it as a double acting ram and I think both lines are pressure.

The main lift rams are the same as the crowd ram only a bit longer. they came from the same Flea Bay site and look identical to me. But I will photo them as well Probably the weekend before I get home in daylight.

If the main lift rams are the same as the bucket ram, they are double acting, so you now have to find out what the Valve assy is, are they both double acting or one of each or what. If you test them like I suggested then we should be able to get it sorted out when you send the info about the valve...John
