I inherited a 1940's vintage working Ferguson but have no knowledge of tractors or ever had one before. Where do I find the model #? I found some imprints of various parts showing T)-4024A, TO-700G and on the lower side under the engine one with Z128ABOU with C8P under it. Is there a good source that can advise me of the value and how to market it?

about the z128????
Im only familiar with the "TO" series of fergusons, in which, the TO20 model (the early fergies) have a Z120 ### as the block number.
Then they went to the TO30, which had a Z129### as the block number.
I think if you double check that number, it will start with one of those two "Z" numbers.
The serial # is on a small square plate above the steering wheel on the dash.
carefully write down the entire number and come back to this site and click the "serial numbers" on the left of this page under Research & Info.
Follow steps. Remember that you tractor is a Harry Ferguson or just Ferguson if they ask.
Should get you right down the year she was made.
