Knowing I have an old Ferguson that I constantly work on and search for parts, a friend gave me a book titled 'Busted Tractors and Rusty Knuckles'. He said I would like it and I did. The author has half a dozen tractor related books and he's pretty funny. He lives in Nebraska and his name is Roger Welsch.
Don't hold it against him that he likes Allis Chalmers.

Yep, they're all great books. Makes for top-notch reading. Every Christmas for several years, my wife would get me one of Roger's books. Once I lent them to a friend of mine, and he liked them so much I never got 'em back!!

Roger is a professor at Univ. of Nebraska I believe he taught anthropology. He"s written magazine articles for Successful Farming as well as several books on topics besides old orange tractors. (including A GREAT book on dogs) He is absolutely hysterically funny.

I love the story he tells about hooking his electric trailer brakes up to the turn signal circuit of his truck.

I LOL every time I read Rogers books he has made all the mistakes we may not want to admit to and puts it in real life perspective especially when wifes involved with TOY spend money. He has an abundence of helpful hints on how to grow the toy box and not ruin a marriage. My wife is good about big toys she allways knows where I am.

Yes, Roger is a good humorest. He has been around for quite a while and his books are fun.
