A few weeks ago someone asked FENA members to identify themselves when they contribute to the forum. I have a similar request: Will any forum readers in Alabama please identify yourselves. It seems that there are just three FENA members in the state and I see a lot of Fergusons out there so, hopefully, there are a lot of them represented here. The desired goal would be to identify enough interested folks to have some sort of mini-show or event and get to know each other.

Don, I'm not an FENA member but I did buy a Ferguson about 8mo. ago and would like to know if there's others around me also. I'm spending more time trying to keep it running than I get to use it, if someone was close it'd be nice to be able to talk to them for help in solving problems.

Why isn't there a FETW group? (Fergie enthusiasts of the world!)

There are basicly two main Ferguson Only groups. FENA which has members all over the world 90% of whom are in N. Am. and Ferguson Heritage out of the UK which also has members from all over.

The main reason there is not one world club is time and travel costs. There are few people who can afford to fly to Europe, the US/Canada, and Austrailia for shows. Thus, localized groups form.

If you want a world club... Start it. After all FENA started with a couple of guys having a picnic dinner in a small red barn in Nebraska one hot summer. They got to talking and concluded it would be nice to have a Ferguson only club. Poof FENA was born. Lots of time and effort by good dedicated folks and the club is 700+ strong and continues to grow.

Go Don!!!! Sounds like you'll make a good regional show director soon... See my article on micro show hosting in the latest Furrows. E-mail me and I can give you some tips and help.
