I am busy to restore a 1950 TEA20 . When I cleaned off all the paint on the hydrolicliftarmcover i found two numbers stamped next to the spring of the seat on the lid. The numbers are 8508F and 1DA8392. Is it Registration numbers???? My FERGUSON Serial Number :TEA 119816

Thanks for your help. My serial no. TEA119816 and engine no. S71445E. I was just wandering what that other numbers mean on the cover. Everything that was stucked is loose and i can start putting together . I had to heat up the hydroliftarms and press everything out with a press because the bushes was seized up in the housing. There is still a lot of spray work to be done.

You already have the Tractor serial number TEA119816 and that with the engine number on the Cylinder Block between the oil filler and the Coil is all that you need, any other numbers on the tractor are only there for manufacturing purposes and will not mean anything to anyone else. They are not Ferguson numbers but they could be the importers stock numbers, some did that, again they won't mean anything to anyone else...John

1950 TEA20 Ferguson 80 mm bore.

No idea what the numbers mean, can't see them on my 1953 TEA20. The casting date should be on the right side of the diff housing, between the "port hole" cover and the gear box flange.

What ID are you trying to establish?
