The TO-20/30 has four speed transmission, the TO-35 has three speed and hi/lo lever to right of gear shift with the starter neutral switch on it. (middle position) Cast on driver side of block down near oil pan flange (about a half inch tall) you should find a Z129 for TO-30 or Z134 for the TO-35 and MF-35 if it is gas powered and a Continental engine. You will probably need to find engine serial number plate or casting numbers cast into different parts of the tractor to find the year of mfg. Does it have power steering and a two stage clutch? If it does, it might even be a MF-35 TYLTK L8R----Fred OH

Bob is correct. Also, the 30 (as from factory) has starter switch activated by gear shift, the 35 is on dash. Lots of other ways, so if not sure, post again.

From what ive read TO20 has a Z120, TO30 has a Z129, and a TO35 has Z134 Continental OHV engins.
