I have a pair of rear axle weights that are on my 1950 8N. I was wondering if they would fit on my TO30. They are held on by the fender/axle bolts. If the ford fenders bolt to the 30 axle than they should fit. I will try to post a photo but if not I posted one in the parts & pieces gallery

I took a look. Interesting. Looks like fender is sorta bent in towards seat, though. Before getting your hopes up on putting them on the Fergy, I'd see how much trouble you'll have getting the fender bolts out of the Ford and the Fergy first. The ones on my T0 30 were frozen up tight as a tick.

They should fit just fine.

I bet they will tranfer just fine. These tractors are pretty similar. Might be easiest to take a tape measure and measure the distance between the mounting bolts and see if it will work on your 30.
If they are close, but not exact, -you may get by with a smaller diameter of mounting bolts-thus giving some "slop" in the holes allowing the bolts to got through both sets of holes?
I'm not a ford guy so someone may jump in and say the 8N's are alot different. For your sake, lets hope not. Mark

Took two days, a lot of heating, a couple of cans of WD40 (or something similar) and a couple of grinder discs to get the fenders off my TEA20!!

Had the same problems with the bolts through the front axle sections.

Not to be caught again..... I made up a 1/4 inch MS steel rod, 8 inches long, cut a slot in the end for a short strip of emery cloth, used my new "tool" in my drill and cleaned all the bolt holes to bright steel and sprayed inside as best I could with one pack etch primer. On re-assembly, packed the bolt holes with grease and added copper base anti seize to the bolts before putting the nuts back on.

Hopefully, the next person to restore the old girl in 50 years time, won't have the same problems I had! I certainly won't be around to help him!
