Anyone have experience(and tips) adjusting the wide front in from wider to narrower after it has been in the position VERY long? I got the nuts off the large Bolts in the axle but the bolts themselves do not budge. Sprayed it with penetrating oil and am waiting.....Thanks

I had this problem with my MF50 which has the same front end as your F40. I did what Jim suggested and that worked on two of the bolts, but the other two wouldn’t budge. I finally got them to turn by using about 5 feet of leverage, and only then with difficulty. Had a friend use an air chisel on the end of the bolt while I turned them and that finally forced them out bit by bit. I had to buy some new bolts after that treatment. There was lots of dirt and rust packed in there holding it very tight. Good luck with yours and don’t give up!

Maybe a little late by now.. hope you have the bolts out, but if not, here is what I'd do... I'd get some additional nuts (same size), screw them about 80% on the bolts (do not expose the threads) and hit the end of the bolts on this nut covered end with a BIG hammer to break it loose.. It ruins the nuts (and not the bolt/threads).. Jim
