Hi all, Krout's question reminded me of something I've been wanting to ask. I have a TO 35 and want to know if it will handle a 3 pt snowblower and if so how big, heavy etc? Anybody have any experience using one? Thanks in advance!

I have an Allied 6'8" 2-stage snowblower that I run with a 65 diesel. The Allied blower weighs less than a McKee 6 footer, so it doesn't make the front of the tractor bounce. It is a perfect combo in my opinion. A 35 with Live PTO should run a blower alright.

They are hard on the neck , back, always looking back and if the wind is blowing you look like a snowman very quickly.I use my loader and a back blade, that works good but what works best it a old 4x4 with a snow blade, can,t beat it, fast, warm.

I have used one on a TEA20 which has a bit less power, with no problem. It is a V-type, as they are called, so only a single stage. When it fills up with wet snow it can lift the front wheels so you do need to use a little finesse.
And definitely with the single stage, an over-running clutch is required.
