Hi Guys, I am in the process of restoring the control spring assembly on my TEF-20 (Serial No: 409129) Does anyone know the dimensions of the Control Spring Rocker Bush and/or is it available? Mine was completely corroded and snapped on one side. Also, upon replacing the hydraulic pump (and reading the service manual) it seams that I am missing the Oscillating control valve!!! It is the type that has the drive strip fitted in the pump. I can find replacement parts for the earlier type (keyrod with circlip) but not the revised type (metal drive strip) Anybody got any suggestions? Thank you. Eoin

Eoin, The Rocker bush is not available as far as I have seen and believe me I have looked. It shouldn't be all that hard to make one, you have the dimensions of the hinged pin, all you need is the size of the hole in the Rear Axle housing. The oscillator is the last type they made the aluminium strip type. You won't find that either, no-one makes them, you may be able to get one from a tractor breakers or you could run it without, the early tractors didn't have any. You could try The Old20 parts co. or Dunlops in Ireland they might have one. Reading that all again I am not sure if you are saying that you want a Control Valve that takes the flat strip oscillator or the oscillator itself, well I told you about the oscillator but that Control Valve is not available from a supplier either, you would have to try the people above, you can get two different types but not that one. I can give you the names of more that you can try and tractor wreckers too. But if you can't get one just fit the original type without an oscillator, it will work. Really you are on the wrong Forum with a TEF as they don't have them in the USA you should use the FoFH Forum in the UK...John
