I think the plow I have is a 12" plow, however it has spacers added betweem the center trusses and the right side plow beam to widen the plow frame to almost 14" apart. Long landside's are used on both front & rear moldboards. Should I leave the spacers in or remove spacers and put the short landside back on the front moldboard? Was this common to increase ground coverage? Any poor effects plowing if I leave both long landsides on and remove the spacers? I thought the spacers were supposed to be there untill I obtained another plow. I'm replaceing the shares, landsides, and reworking the coulters to use in an upcoming plow day. Can't wait till the snow is gone and get them mounted on the TO-20...

Your frame was a 12", the spacers should be fine if they did a good job, the long front landside may interfere with the ground turning over on the 2nd bottom, you could cut it off, the number on the back of your moldboards would tell if you should leave the spacers in the frame or not.

Hello Chuck,

Do you have any simple means of taking pics and sending on the puter. I wish I could see the landscape of where you live, now with the snow there.

Bill
