I have a TEA20 Ferguson & the hitch with a blade wont lift sometimes & other times it shudders when going up. It has new hydraulic oil & the level is full. The finger controls in the up position feels like its loose & doing nothing & in the down position it feels springy like it wants to return to half position. Last night the blade was down & wouldnt lift until I went to the back & lifted the blade with my hands & then it started lifting. Then the blade was up position & I shut the tractor off & went to lower it & it wouldnt lower. Can someone help me with this problem. Thank You

I had the same symptoms and it turned out the linkage (inside) from the control handle at the top to the control valve in the pump was "half disconnected". Hard to describe....go to this page and have a look under "hydraulics and pto".

I dont have a good service repair manual, I bought service manual a couple of years ago online & it turned out to be a joke, more like an owners manual, any suggestions were to get a proper repair manual that is very detailed ?

Hi cord
I own a 1952 TEA-2085 and bought all my manuals from this site. You have to look but they are avaiable here. Owners, parts, and services manuals cost me about US 165 in total, if memory serves me right. They were the best investment that I could have ever bought. Good luck,, Barry
