I have friend whose father has some Ferguson implements. One of the things is a three point rake. What a neat item. I took a look at it Thursday nite and told my friend that if it ever came up for sale I was definately interested. How many of those do you suppose got made.
He also has a 3 point lift and 2 bottom plow.

I have a Ferguson 3 point, pto powered side delivery rake. Model number is DE-O-25. There was also a slightly smaller version offered which was a DE-O-20.

I use mine every year. I don't understand the comment below about the rake turning at ground speed. He must be talking about a ground drive version. I've never seen a 3 point ground drive rake. All the ground drive rakes I've seen were tow behind rakes. I had a MF 36 pull rake that was ground drive. Because of my tight spaces, I much prefer the 3 point design where I can stop, pick up the rake, get re-positioned where I want, then drop it and start raking again. The pull behind was much better for guys with long stretches of hay with no sharp turns.

Well there are at least two up here in Mn.They work well raking hay.Working off the ground speed pto on a TO-35,the rake only turns as fast as you are driving, not spinning at RPM speed which is to fast for these unless you have a gear reducer. Hope you have a chance to get it.

I guess I never thought about the rake being synchronized with the ground speed. Would they have enough inertia to have to use an overrunning clutch? His father still uses it every summer to rake up the waterway grass and roadside cuttings. By the way, he's 89 years old and still likes to do it.

That I wouldn't know. All I have are three 35's. To me it seemed the rake spun to fast with it running at regular PTO speed, Also in the manual (if I remember right) it says to use ground PTO. I will try to find my manual on that.
