which all type of fluids does an MF 65 diesel tractor use? Today I removed an access cover that is located to the left of the gear shifter by the base of the steering column and I could see the gears in the Transmission but there was hardly any oil in it. Is this normal or should this be full of oil? If yes, which grade/type of oil. The engine oil dipstick is at the correct level, the hydrualic oil dipstick is also at the right level. Which other oil/lubricant level should I look for?

hilario, you won't be sorry. i get into my manuals so often the pages are falling out of it and all covered with oil and grease. if you plan to do any big mechanical work on your tractor, you might want to think about ordering a shop/service manual too. very handy to have if you're like me...take it apart first and when i realize i'm in too deep, reach for the shop manual. 80)
good advice from Phil-VA too. the massey forum has lots of info about 65's...check it out. -mike

that access hole you were looking in was the gear oil fill hole. i believe your 65 uses straight mineral oil, 80 or 90 weight. it lubes your gears, steering, pto, and is the fluid for your hydraulics (3 point lift etc.) it should not be filled to the top of the case. if your dipstick for your gear oil says full then it probably is. you can purchase a owner's/operator's manual from your MF dealer, or even from this website. it's a good thing to have for it has lots of info about maintenance of your tractor, capacities, types of fluids, how to change and refill them, cleaning and changing filters...etc. definately worth the money.

It should NOT be "full of oil." The gears pick up the oil from near the bottom of the reservoir. You might better ask specific questions on the MF forum, just above this one, as this forum is mostly for older tractors than the one you reference.
