I recently purchased a snow plow that the seller said had been on an 8N, so I reckoned it might be worth a try to use on my TO-30 (the prices was right) - it's one of the cable lift types - I'm pretty sure some parts are missing - so....
1. can I make this thing work on the TO-30?
2. if so, does anyone have a manual, parts list, pictures of one installed, parts supplier, etc?
thanks in advance for any and all advice - I can send photos of what I have if it would help..

yes i have the same plow on my fergy i had to make brackets under rear axle with large angle iron 3x3 mounted to the fender bolts then a hole for rear of plow frame. now for the tricky part front axle needs to down riggers about 12" so they fit between the to pullies of your plow that's just to keep your frame from bending in heavy snow. they need to be bolted to the axle bolts that are there and the cable to as high as you can. don't know how to send pics. yet but maybe the guys on fords 8n's can senda photo.

thanks to Howie and Dell for the replies ---- Howie - pictures of your set-up - even by 'snail mail' would be much appreciated - especially the parts you had to fabricate - I'd be happy to reimburse for any expense involved - pls let me know if this is possible - thanks again
