I recently just bought a mani for my to30 to replace my old mani since the exhaust flange isn't 100%. Might as well replace it since I seem to be spending lots of money to buy almost everything new for it, if it dont need it or not it seems. lol

Cant say Im to terriblely impressed with the qaulity of it. The casting is kinda rough. I found a chunk of wire in the one exhaust ports. The inlet for the card really sucks. Theres 3 steps in the i.d. as it get really small at the end before it hits the intake manifold itself.

There is a upside to all this junky new manifold :D It looks like it should flow better then the old one and make more ponies - would be the best point of of using it. Im gonna port/ polish as much as i cant to make it work with the already ported cylinder head

I have a manifold like yours with the steps in the inlet. I did not like the looks of it either so I made mine the same size top to bottom. Might not have been the right thing to do but seems to run fine.

I can see that 3 step inlet creating h**l on your vacuum signal. 'Specially if it's smallest point is smaller than the venturi of the carb. Good job on finding the wire. I know chances are against it, but I can see that wire getting wrapped around an exhaust valve or embedded in a piston top.

Good Luck

Aaron
