On the side of hood on a 56 TO35, What does the decal look like or what does say? MF TO35 or just Massey ferguson? I'm trying to fix up a burned TO 35 and dont know much or rather NOTING about them but i'm learning thanks to you guys. James

I think you will find a world of info for your restor project at the Ferguson Enthusiasts of North America site. (FENA) see the link below.

There are paint charts for eachh part and the codes to match the colors. There are also wiring diagrams and more.

However, to answer your question It depends, when in 1956 you tractor was built. There was a color change in April/May 1956. But either on either on there were no decals on the hood side, however, there were name badges that said "Ferguson" these badges were either Green or Red depending on when you tractor was made. The Red badges are redilly available and new reproductions are available from many sources.

PS please keep digging into this tractor. A Green and Gray 1956 TO-35 is a rarer beast than the baige and Silver ones.

FENA's news letter the Ferguson Furrows has a wealth of info on the TO-35. Check out a membership or at least some of the back issues.

I must correct myself. THe MF35 did have decals. They said "Massey Ferguson 35" there was also a Ferguson system decal. These decal sets are readily available at part suppliers.
