Diesel leaking to sump

My TEF 20 is leaking diesel to sump even when fuel turned off at bottom of tank.I have bung out of sump there is drips of diesel.

If it has a fuel feed pump fitted, then the diaphragm may be ruptured. They go hard and brittle with the heat and it will leak into the sump that way. OR. it is leaking in through the front seal of the Fuel Injection Pump.Most common one though is the Fuel Feed Pump. You say you have turned the fuel off on the tank....which tank...the main tank or the auxiliary tank at the back of the dash panel. If you have turned the main one off then there is a gallon in the auxiliary tank that will leak in. If you need more information or help with this email me at:- fergusontractors(at)tiscali.co.uk
