I would like to publically thank Doug Fitch for his advise and expertise in helping me repair the alternator and charging system on this tractor. Now my nephew can hop on it and turn the key and it will start and drive, but now we are experiencing the rear hydraulics for the 3 pt. wont lift up...? The man I bought it from drained the old fluid out and refilled it with new fluid but it wont raise our finish mower.

I am asking Veteran members of this board for advice who can help me trouble-shoot what might be the cause of this and how to go about repairing the problem ?

I have replied to your private email about this problem. Although I included information about the oil in my reply I didn"t say anything about checking what oil he had filled the system with, just make sure that it is the correct oil.
