The guy with motorcycle air pump has 19 kits left with 16 foot hose and adaptors. $25 + shipping. I got one.
T0-20 didn't start. Gas to carb. but none out bottom plug ?
Don't have gasgets or rebuild kit. 15 yards of gravel in drive---was going to use tractor with back blade to get it level so I could get out. (out of beer)
Hit carb. with hammer---not to hard---still no go.
Any suggestions other than take it all apart and clean and wait for rebuild kit and try and adjust---not knowing how and no insurance---so I can't burn it and get a new one.

Don't be in too much of a hurry to rebuild your carb. The fuel tanks in these old tractors are often full of crap and corruption that leads to a clogged fuel supply.
Have you checked the "secret filter" (screen) in the carb inlet elbow? You can have fuel to the elbow connection, but if the screen is clogged it won't get into the fuel bowl. The other possibility is a hung float but you rapped the carb and that didn't help.(Next time use a piece of 2x4 instead of a hammer.)If you clean the screen and that doesn't help, carefully remove the carb and open it up. Check the bowl for sediment. Sometimes the fuel bowl fills with fine sediment and the float can't drop to open the valve. Tf that's not the case, then remove the float valve and seat and make sure that it is clear of debris and the inlet passage in the carb is clear. If you do this very carefully, you may find your trouble and get going without going through a real rebuild. Let us know what you find.

This mourning, on the way to the out-house, though I'd try to start her one more time before I started tearing her apart----and she started !!??. Now back in for breakfast and will go back out and see if she is ready for a half day of pulling the back blade. Has anyone found a source for those ceramic fillers like they show in the Blue Ferguson Dealer Shop Manual ?
Thanks,

I haven't seen any of those filters but I use a lawnmower fuel filter I got from Wal-Mart. I cut the steel fuel line, used a flaring tool to just slightly expand the cut ends and used rubber fuel hose to connect the steel line and the filter. I located the plastic filter underneath the battery to protect it from the hot exhaust manifold. It works fine and the filters are about $2 each.
