Early TE20 Series are the same, TO30 isn"t. Late type TE20 isn"t. You need axle-shaft with 16 splines, later ones have 19 splines. If you are looking at an axle housing and you want to know if axle-shaft is the same, look around the bottom of the flange where it is bolted to the Centre axle housing, the studs are equally spaced all around, the later one has more studs at the bottom that the top.
