The Plugs were Champion L10 set to .030"
An ignition system suitable for the Lucas distributor fitted to the Ferguson TE and TEA tractors is available from Pertronix. The Pertronix number is LU145 and the price is $93.15 if you wish to check the site here is the address:-http://www.vintageperformance.com/retrorockets/lucas.htm
The model of your distributor is D3A4 but there is a model number on an oval plate riveted to the distributor body.
You can get a generator from Your Local SPAREX stockist or retailer, 12v is part # S41157, Distributor cap is S41169 / Ignition lead kit is S43275 includes caps. The people below are the Importers of Sparex in Canada but are TRADE only but if you need to know who your nearest supplier is email them at:- sales@cefs.com

I'm in Canada and have seen copper spark plug wire at TSC stores.
An MF dealer would sell the tune up parts, but to go electronic, I had good success with this place:>Link

One more thing in reply to toolman, 03-22-2006 14:17:37
Or Sparex- I was able to get their parts ordered through my local auto parts store (UAP/NAPA). Helps if you take them in the Sparex part numbers.
Jim

Get the copper ones. The carbon nes are set up to reduce radio interference and will reduce your spark strength.

Small bit of info in reply to toolman, 03-22-2006 14:30:51
Offhand I can tell you the model of spark plug is NGK B6HS.
For the rest I would try finding someone who sources through BareCo. I thought you could still buy the sparkplug wire by the foot from auto parts stores but maybe it"s been too long since I tried and they don"t do that anymore.
