Just depends on how much time and money you put into it.. there were V8 and straight 6 adapter kits made for the Fords that probably could be adapted to the Ferguson,

However, these were for small engines (60 hp) by today's standard, and for the Ford so you would probably be better off starting from scratch and copying the concept. And most engines today are not designed to be the structural member of the tractor so you will have to have some sort of frame to attach the front end to..

Last, but not least, a 454 is way overkill... and sounds dangerous.. the tractor was designed for an engine torque of about 100 ft-lb and the 454 is capable of 4 or 5 times that.... (read twisted shafts, broken gears, castings, axles, etc.... and you sitting right on top of it).. YOu could probably get away with doubling the power/torque and not break anything (just wear it out faster). So a 454? If you just want something for parades, that is one thing.. but something to plow, wear armor plate..

Below is a link that has adapters for the Ford... YOu (or somebody) could do the same for a Ferguson with a Chevy.

You'd have to make an adaptor. Use your old TO20 flywheel and starter. You'll have to relocate the gas tank. Front axle support will be the biggest problem.
