Where can I find a complete service manual for a TO 35 gas? I ordered one from here but it is incomplete - missing the general engine section etc. Thanks

Max,
Try Ed Faxon at Faxonautoliterature.com. They have factory manuals for about every domestic & forgein car made. I was at their shop a month ago & they have factory tractor shop manuals also owner's manuals, parts books, assembly manuals & more (no I&T manuals). Prices are not cheap, but then you get what you pay for. I have delt with them since the mid 80's and always got a fair shake. Ed is a good guy & will try to find what you need if he dosen't stock it. Call them toll free 800-458-2734.

Hope this helps.
Mansel

What's "incomplete" about them. I have a TO-30 and my service manual from them is complete. I don't know why the TO-35 gas engine service manual from them would be incomplete. It should cover the Continental Z134 engine that wa sin the TO-35 and the f40.

In the service manual I received, in the section over the Z134 engine, It keeps talking about turning to the general engine section to find out how to do different things and that section is not there. When I talked to the guy that sells them, he said he knew it was incomplete because of how old the tractor is and that he would refund my money if I wanted. I said I would try to find an original service manual first. So the serch continues!

I'm having the same trouble finding a good service book for my MF50. It has the same Z134 engine as the TO35. I have heard you can order them from a Massey dealer, but I dont have one near me and no one can tell me what the quality of the book is through the dealers, so I havent tried that yet. I am also looking for an original but the couple I have come across on ebay sold for more than I wanted to pay. Meanwhile I make do with the I&T although it can leave much to be desired at times.

I'm sorry you can't find what you need Max. I can't believe there isn't one, as popular as the 35 series was(is)! Have you tried the folks to the left of this page?
