SOMEONE HAS TO KNOW. MY 52 TO-30 IGNITION SWITCH MOUNTING HOLE IS 5/8". THE BURNT ONE HAS A 7/8" HOLE IN THE DASH. WHAT YEAR COULD THE BURNT ONE BE? ALL I.D. PLATES MELTED. SOMEONE IN TRACTORVILLE MUST HAVE THE ANSWER. STILL WAITING FOR MY MANUAL TO ARRIVE, NOT THAT IT WOULD HAVE THE ANSWER TO THIS QUESTION. YOU GUYS ARE FUN TO READ. THE WIFE SAYS I'M OBSESSED, BUT SHE ALWAYS KNOWS WHERE TO FIND ME. ALWAYS WRENCHIN' ON SOMETHING. THANK YOU ALL.

In the original parts list it shows 2 switches one for the TO20 which was TO3884 and one for the TO30 which was TO3884a or 3684a. no mention of change at any serial number, only when the model changed. The TO30 started in 1951

Is it possible that an aftermarket switch was added to replace the original? On my TO30 someone before I bought it had replaced the ignition switch and the originals are hard to come by.

Tom
