What is the standard size bore and what is the standard size rod journal size? This is a TE 20.

I need a piston and rod for a TE 20 engine. It measures approx 2-900. I wrote it on my hand and then washed it off when I came in the house!!!!!

Zane, the connecting rod journal diameter for the TE-20, TO-20, and the TO-30 is 1.9375-1.9365 inches. The original sleeve diameter for the TE and TO-20 is 3.1875 - 3.1895 inches and the max allowable is 3.199 inches. (Reference: Ferguson Shop Manual TO-20, TE-20 & TO-30.)

Thanks guys! Now I know about where I stand with the crankshaft etc. It had a rod bearing turn in the rod and threw the rod through the block and broke the piston. The crank hit the rod one good whack but I think I can even that up with the surface of the throw and polish it a bit and then shim the new rod bearing to fit the throw if it is not out of round too much. I even have one of those old grind it in the block crank grinders that I could possibly re grind the crank round at .040 under if I had too. This is just going to be a tractor to plunk around on a small place anyway. Just hate to junk it if I don't have to. Sort of like doing plastic surgery on a 90 year old man!!!!!

Thanks again!
